Oltrepò Pavese, among its many riches, has a numerous historical, artistic and cultural heritage and an excellent naturalistic fabric with all its beauties. Among the various localities you will also find Bagnaria, a village of 670 inhabitants which has maintained the ancient layout of the medieval village of the times. Since the first settlements, his is a viaticum proceeded in the shadow of multiple changes of ownership between the nobles who administered the fief. Of these we remember: the Busseti of Tortona, the Fieschi of Genoa and the Doria princes, who ruled mainly in the 15th and 19th centuries.

Bagnaria is immersed in the heart of the Staffora Valley. Its land produces, almost by magic,  colors and quality flavors that have kept the origins of the past. Among these we can find: its fruits, cherries and apples, its dishes, typical products such as salami and historical heritage, such as medieval village (perched in a panoramic position on the right side of the Staffora stream, with gray stone houses and narrow and winding streets that climb up to the churchyard of the Romanesque church of San Bartolomeo) and all the other assets of the historical-artistic heritage and naturalistic with its network of paths worthy of a visit.
