Itinerary description
Among the small villages on the Oltrepò Pavese hills we also find Romagnese.
Romagnese is a town located in the mountainous area in Alta Val Tidone, in the province of Pavia and its origins date back to the time of the Punic wars.
Thanks to the historical events that took place in its territory and that led to the birth, also, of myths and legends, Romagnese is a popular destination for tourists.
In fact, within the municipality we can find:
- the Lombard Apennine Museum of the 4 Provinces, where objects and work tools used in ancient times by peasants are kept
- several works including the Big Bench n ° 170
- path n ° 10, dedicated to the legend of Hannibal
- the Alpine Garden of Pietra Corva, a botanical garden where it is possible to admire various species of flora and fauna.
