PRINCIPIO-DESTINO (PRINCIPLE-FATE), 2012, is the title of the work by Michelangelo Galliani (Montecchio Emilia, 1975).

"Michelangelo Galliani's nature resides in the bucranium, in the dissected body, in the branch, in the heads, in the human heart, in the many fragments that draw a precise vision of the author. The nakedness of the forms, then, underlines the ascetic challenge of his sculpture, a being in the being where subtraction adds intensity and clairvoyance. The marble sculptures as pulsating bodies, eager and tenacious, live in their eternal metaphysics. They seem to ask for our care so that nothing disturbs their static nature. They want to feel protected by a glance who investigates their postures through the familiar emotions that visual art can indicate".
